Cama Review

After dinner we headed down to Cama in the Mission to join some friends. Rather gentrified, Cama is a bar with bed-like booths filled with pillows facing the bar. Lights above the bar highlight the unusual mixed drink specials; none of the ones we tried were we happy with. Between the boards of mixed drinks was a projection screen with weird videos that might be fun to watch if one were under the influence. The music, never before heard (by me) bad 80s (?) hard rock, was, well, bad. And so loud it seriously impeded conversation. Besides our group, the bar was relatively empty (admittedly it was Wednesday), with only two other parties and only two women in the bar in total. Due to the music, drinks, and crowd (probably in that order), we departed for a better place.

After Cama, we went to Delirium.
